Three Time NFL Champion In Talks With WWE, Could Appear On Smackdown Soon
March 10, 2020It looks like one former NFL Champion could be on Smackdown this month.
We have seen many pro athletes recently come to the WWE like Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury, it was reported that another pro athlete is currently in talks with WWE.
According to Ryan Satin on WWE Backstage, Satin reports that former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski is in talks with the WWE and close to finalizing a deal. Satin stated that if the two sides can finalize the deal that Gronk could appear on the March 20th Smackdown a week from Friday.

This would not be the first time Gronk has done something with WWE. If you remember Gronkowski appeared at WrestleMania 33 to help Mojo Rawley win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
With this news being announced on WWE backstage with a possible debut date, that does lead one to believe that this deal is basically a done deal.
