Another Former Champion if hall bound.

This morning the news came out that former Intercontinental Champion “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith would be going into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. Now more news has come out as far as another name for this year’s class.

According to Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc, Giri reports that former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield is slated to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year in Tampa. As of right now, it is unclear when this announcement would actually be made by WWE.

One would assume that he is inducted by Ron Simmons as JBL inducted Simmons into the Hall Of Fame back in 2012.

JBL is one of now five names that have been rumored to go be in the 2020 inductee class but yet to be announced by the company. As stated Davey Boy Smith is expected to go in as well as Jushin “Thunder” Liger and The Bella Twins.

The 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony comes to us on April 2nd from Tampa, Florida and live on the WWE Network.
