Five Matches Announced For Monday’s RAW

Five Matches Announced For Monday’s RAW

WWE has a decent lineup set for RAW.

Usually days before Monday Night RAW we know of very little to nothing for the upcoming week’s show. Most of the time WWE announces things and most does not even happen. Yet over the last 24 hours, WWE has announced five matches for this Monday’s RAW.

First off WWE has announced that Charlotte Flair will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. This comes off the match they had last week on RAW where in the end Jax did pin the 12-time Women’s Champion.

Last Monday on Raw, Nia Jax not only laid waste to former Raw Women’s Champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley, but she also went on to pin the 12-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair!

As a result, the dominant Irresistible Force will challenge The Queen for her throne.

Next up WWE has announced that Drew McIntyre will go one-on-one with Sheamus. The winner of this match will actually get a United Stated Championship shot at Extreme Rules against Damian Priest. It’s a little odd that these two are still in line for a shot when both competed for the title last week on RAW in a triple threat match where Priest retained the title.

One week after Drew McIntyre and Sheamus battled it out with Damian Priest in an extremely hard-hitting Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship, the two former friends will once again go to war against one another in a one-on-one contest that promises to be an all-out brawl from start to finish.

The reward is sweet, too, as the winner will go on to challenge Priest for the United States Title at WWE Extreme Rules.

Speaking of getting a title shot, WWE has also announced a seven-team tag team turmoil match for RAW. The winning team will earn a future shot at the RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro. The teams in this match will be, The Viking Raiders, Mansoor & Mustafa Ali, Lucha House Party, The New Day, T-Bar & Mace, Jinder Mahal & Veer, and AJ Styles & Omos.

This Monday, the elite tandems of Raw will battle it out in a Seven-Team Tag Team Turmoil Match. By the end of the all-out free-for-all, the WWE Universe will find out who will face Randy Orton & Riddle next for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The tag teams that will be taking part in the high-stakes contest will include The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods, AJ Styles & Omos, The Viking Raiders, Mustafa Ali & Mansoor, Lucha House Party, Jinder Mahal & Veer and MACE & T-BAR.

Who will be next to challenge RK-Bro?

It’ll be one of seven teams – the winners of Tag Team Turmoil

Going forward we do know that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Natalya and Tamina will be in action when they take on two former RAW Women’s Champions in Niki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley.

Former Raw Women’s Champions Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. are set to take on WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina in what is sure to be a truly explosive tag team encounter.

Finally, it was announced that the 24/7 Championship will be on the line when Reggie defends against Akira Tozawa.

Whether inside the squared circle or on the playground, Reggie has quickly proven himself an elusive 24/7 Champion.

Now, the gravity-defying titleholder will take on Akira Tozawa one-on-one this Monday at 8/7 C on Raw!

So with all of these matches being announced for RAW this Monday, it is to remember that with WWE, just because something is announced does not mean it will always take place. This past week on RAW three matches were announced ahead of the show and technically only one somewhat kind of took place.

If we do hear anything else regarding this week’s Monday Night RAW, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
