Update On Sasha Banks’ Status After Missing SummerSlam

The Boss could be back on TV at any time.

We have not seen former Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks on television since August 13th. She was pulled from multiple live events for an undisclosed reason and untimely pulled from SummerSlam as well. It was not known exactly why Banks had missed so many shows but we have an update on her status with the company.

According to a new report from Fightful, they do report that Sasha Banks was actually backstage last night at Smackdown in Jacksonville, Flordia. Of course, she did not appear on the show though. This does go in line with what PWinsider reported earlier in the week that people in the company expected her back no later than the weekend of September 10, the week that Smackdown comes to us from Madison Square Garden.

As of right now the main title picture on Smackdown is Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair with the two set to battle over the title at Extreme Rules on September 26th. It is not known if Banks will be brought back and seen on television before that or if they wait till after that match to put Banks back on TV.

One idea they could do is ad Banks to the match at Extreme Rules making it a triple threat match for the title. Next week inside Madison Square Garden Lynch and Belair are set to have a contract signing for their upcoming title match and that would be a great title to have Banks interrupted the contract signing and get herself inserted into the match.
