This past Friday we saw AEW go head-to-head with WWE’s main roster and Friday Night Smackdown. Smackdown was on FS1 due to the MLB playoffs airing on FOX so it was on a channel pretty even with TNT. With that, we have the final rating numbers for both shows per ShowBuzzDaily.

As far as Smackdown does go, Smackdown drew 866,000 viewers. Regarding the demographics, in the 18-49 demo Smackdown did a .24. In the 18-34 demo Smackdown did a .15 and a .43 in the 50+ demo. In the all-important 18-49 demo, Smackdown was tied for third for the night on cable.

As far as AEW Rampage goes, Rampage drew 578,000 viewers. Regarding the demographics, in the 18-49 demo Rampage did a .24. In the 18-34 demo Rampage did a .17 and a .21 in the 50+ demo. In the all Important 18-49 demo, was tied for third for the night on cable.

Smackdown and Rampaged both did a .24 overall in the 18-49 demo also tieing Love After Lockup on WETV. Smackdown was technically ranked third though on the charts due to having more viewers overall. Yet if we only look at the 30 minutes that Smackdown and Rampage went head-to-head, Rampage came out on top with 328,000 viewers to Smackdown only having 285,000 viewers according to PWTorch. That’s a 43,000 viewer difference.
