WWE In Talks To Become Exclusive American Partner Of New Japan Pro Wrestling

WWE could be getting out of their bubble in wrestling.

For as long as we can remember WWE has been stuck in its own bubble. They care about their product and their company and no one else when it comes to the world of professional wrestling. They rarely mention other companies and now all of that can change.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that WWE President Nick Khan has had talks with New Japan Pro Wrestling for WWE to become their exclusive American partner. Meltzer states that it is unclear how far along talks have gone but that they started back in late March or early April.

If a deal is to be made here, that would mean New Japan would no longer be working with AEW and IMPACT Wrestling closing Tony Khan’s “forbidden door” and ending those relationships. Guys like Jon Moxley, Rocky Romero, David Finn, and Juice Robinson would no longer be able to work back and forth anymore.

Again it is unclear if a deal will be made and how far along talks are between the two sides. If we do hear anything further on a possible working relationship between WWE and New Japan, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
