Kofi Kingston has a legit jaw injury.

Last night during Monday Night RAW Xavier Woods took on T-Bar but did so without Kofi Kingston in his corner. Tom Phillips then let us know that Kingston was not there because he is dealing with a broken jaw suffered in a match with The Hurt Business. At the time we did not know if this was a real or storyline injury. Now we know which it is.

Prior to RAW on Monday, Kofi Kingston did an Instagram Live session and within the first few minutes did state that he can’t talk like normal as he is dealing with a jaw injury.

“I gotta apologize, I feel like I’m talking out of the side of my mouth and I’m dealing with like a jaw injury right now and my mouth is only closing on one side. If I sound kinda funny, that’s why. Ordinarily, I do a lot of imitations and impersonations and impressions, but I’m not doing that right now. I’m talking funny just trying to figure this situation out.”

Kofi Kingston’s last match came last week on RAW, January 4th, where he and Xavier Woods took on The Miz and John Morrison. The match in question where he was hurt against The Hurt Business may have come back on December 20th at the TLC pay-per-view. Kingston took to Twitter after the match to reveal he has lost a few teeth in the match.

At this time we do not know how long this will keep Kingston out of action as this is the second time in the last six months that Kingston was taken off TV for a supposed injury. If we hear anything else regarding Kingston’s injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
