Kris Statlander Provides Update On Current Knee Injury

Kris Statlander recovering well.

Back on June 10th, Kris Statlander was in a match with Hikaru Shida taking on the team of Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford. During the match, Statlander would suffer a serious knee injury and has been out since.

We have not heard many updates on Statlander’s condition but she did a Q&A with Pro Wrestling Junkies where she did provide an update on her injury.

“It’s going. It’s a very serious injury. I would say my knee is close to being healed, but it’s such an extensive and long recovery process to make sure I’m ready to go. Sometimes it takes people up to a year to get back, but it’s coming along for sure. I’m definitely pushing way harder than I need to be, but I do it because I know I’m going to come out stronger in the end.”

No timetable was given a far as to when we could expect her to return to the ring and it is unfortunate as it looked like AEW was highly invested in her and her future. We have seen recently on her Instagram that she is recovering well as she is able to lift heavy with nearly no issues.

Statlander was featured on this week’s Being The Elite in a very quick segment so it is good to see that they are trying to keep her in the loop somehow even if she can’t wrestle at the moment.

If we hear anything else regarding Kris Statlander’s recovery, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
