Title Match Announced For Friday’s Smackdown

Tomorrow night’s Smackdown comes to us from Brooklyn, New York and it is the fall out from last Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view. On said show we saw the New Day defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championships in a ladder match against The Revival and tomorrow they will defend those titles yet again.
WWE announced today that Kofi Kingston and Big E will defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the team of Intercontinental Champion Sinauke Nakamura and Cesaro. WWE did not give any reason to why Nakamura and Cesaro are getting a title shot at all.
Following a successful title defense at WWE TLC, The New Day will face Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro in a non-title match.
In the first edition of this matchup, the Intercontinental Champion & The Swiss Cyborg answered the champions’ post-Thanksgiving open challenge, but a well-timed Trouble in Paradise carried Kofi Kingston & Big E to the victory. Can Sami Zayn’s stable put The New Day on notice, or will the champions continue their dominance?
