Roman Reigns To Wrestle On FOX New Year’s Eve Special
December 19, 2019Roman Reigns will represent the WWE and FOX on the FOX New Year’s Eve special.
According to a report from Deadline, the New Year’s Eve show hosted by Steve Harvey will have a number of acts including “a WWE match with Roman Reigns.” Details on the match other Reigns being involved in unclear. We don’t know if it will be a live match, pre-taped and who the opponent will be.
As far as the special itself, with Steve Harvey hosting, Rob Gronkowski and Maria Menounos will co-host the show. The Villiage People will attempt to set the world record for the largest YMCA dance. LL Cool J, JD Z-Trip, the Chainsmokers, Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys, Tyga and more will perform.
An interesting note about co-host Maria Menounos is that she recently posted photos of her working out in a ring with WWE Hall of Famer Sean “X-Pac” Waltman and Sonya Deville at Rikishi’s training school ‘Knox Pro’. She said she was training for an “secret project” with her nwo fam. We don’t know if this is the case, but what if she is involved in the match with Roman Reigns. We will have to wait and see.
The show starts at 8pm ET on December 31st on FOX.
