There is a new champ on the blue brand.

Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown three titles were on the line. Two titles stayed with their respective champion but one title changed hands.

In the main event of Smackdown Samu Zayn had to defend the Intercontinental Championship in a Lumberjack Match against Big E. During the match, a brawl broke out between the lumberjacks and Zayn even tried to walk out. The Street Profits, Otis, Chad Gable, and Apollo Crews stopped Zayn and threw him back into the ring to Big E. Big E would then win the match after a bell-to-belly suplex, a splash, and the big ending.

Big E would become the Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career as the show went off the air with Big E celebrating. The other babyfaces at ringside got in the ring to celebrate with him and hoisted him up above their head.

After the show, WWE posted a video where Big E declared that he put in the work and brought it to Zayn to become the Intercontinental Championship for the second time.
