Title Change Takes Place On NXT
August 26, 2020Tonight new champions were crowned on NXT.
The first match on tonight’s NXT was a championship match with the NXT Tag team Championships on the line. We saw Marcel Barthel and Fabien Aichner defending against Tyler Breeze and Fandango. Fandango earned this title shot after winning a triple threat title number one contenders match on the NXT TakeOver XXX Pre-Show.
The match tonight showed both teams looking good and going back and forth. throughout the match neither team really look better than the other until the end when Fandango started to get a slight advantage. The finish saw Fandango go for his top rope leg drop and drop legs on both of the champions. This then led to Breezango winning the match and the titles. This is the first time Tyler Breeze or Fandango have won any championship in the WWE.

This is not the only title match taking place tonight on NXT. We will also see Santos Escobar defend the Cruiserweight Title against Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Could another new and first time champion in WWE be crowned later in the night?
