SPOILER ALERT: Sasha Banks Botches Her Entrance At Smackdown Tapings

The champ had an oopsie with the belt.

This week’s Christmas edition of Smackdown was filmed today and fans were able to watch via the WWE ThunderDome website. With that, the following does contain spoilers for Smackdown.

It was announced Monday during RAW that the Women’s Tag Team Championships would be defended this week on Smackdown. No opponents were named during RAW but during the Smackdown tapings, a triple threat match was set. The champions Charlotte Flair and Asuka were in the ring and interrupted by Bayley, Bianca Belair, Carmella, and the Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

As Banks made her way down to the ring, the Smackdown Women’s Championship actually fell off her waist as she was walking down the ramp. Once The Boss got into the ring she would make a joke about it stating it was a good thing this was a taped show. Yet fans were able to capture the moment none the less in the video you see below.

The Women’s Tag Team Title match would end up seeing Flair and Asuka defeating the teams of Bayley and Carmella as well as Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to retain their titles.
