Positive COVID-19 Test At Recent IMPACT Wrestling Tapings

One person within IMPACT Wrestling tested positive for COVID-19.

Unlike other companies like WWE, AEW, and ROH, before tapings IMPACT Wrestling doesn’t test their wrestlers for COVID-19 and staff before getting to work. Since the pandemic started we had heard that all was good regarding COVID but that changed at the last tapings.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reported that there was a positive COVID test at the last IMPACT tapings. A few wrestlers were told they should get tested just in case but were not told exactly who tested positive. Others in the company heard about this from others and not management. Some were said to be very hot having to hear this from gossip.

As stated IMPACT does not test anyone for COVID and only does temperature checks. They have been lucky that no one working for them has tested positive for COVID before this.
