New WrestleMania Match Being Pitched For Hall Of Famer

One match considered a lock no longer a lock.

A lot of things have happened regarding next year’s WrestleMania. It was originally announced to take place at SoFi Stadium in Southern California. Then news started coming out WWE was considering holding it at Raymond James Stadium with the stick guidelines right now in California. The one thing people were saying was a lock for next year’s show, now may not be anymore.

Earlier this year Edge made his big return to the ring at the Royal Rumble. He then entered into a program with Randy Norton and then two fought at WrestleMania. Then two then had another match at Backlash and during the taping of the match, Edge was injured and has been out of action since. Many have reported that Edge versus Orton at next year’s WrestleMania most likely with the WWE Championship on the line. Now it looks that match is not as much of a lock as once thought.

According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, they are reporting that Edge vs Randy Norton has been the plan, but now an idea going around is Edge taking on The Fiend at WrestleMania.

The report states that this new pitch has been discussed a great deal. The one question you have to ask is that if Edge never got injured, who would have been working with after the Orton storyline was over. Was there ever a plan for Edge and The Fiend or is that just an idea someone came up with recently?
