Multiple Smackdown Superstar Get Name Change, Big E Comments

A WWE tag team now has new names.

With the WWE Draft in 2021 not only did Superstars move from RAW to Smackdown. Yet with that two superstars moved to Smackdown also had their names slightly changed over the last few days.

On Friday Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo competed on Smackdown under the tag team name Los Lotharios. Since Smackdown it was revealed on WWE’s website that both men have lost their last names. Angel Garza is now simply Angel and Humberto Carillo is simply Humberto.

Just like many others previously, there is no reason why WWE has taken the last names away from Angel and Humberto. One person who has experienced this in WWE back in the day is current WWE Champion Big E who used to be Big E Langston commented on them getting their last names stripped.
