Multiple NXT Talent Released By WWE
January 5, 2022WWE has released three NXT talent.
Earlier today news came out that WWE was going to make a lot of cuts to personnel within the NXT brand. It was originally stated that no talent would be released today, yet that is not the case.
It has been reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that three NXT talent have been let go by the company. Sapp reports that “Hachiman” Hideki Suzuki of Diamond Mine, Danny Burch, and Timothy Thatcher have all been released by the company.
As it pertains to Suzuki, he was hired by WWE back in April of 2021 to be a coach and of course, the role evolved into him becoming an on-screen talent and the “coach” of Diamond Mine.

With Burch and Thatcher, since being off TV since August, both had been working with the company as a coach at the Performance Center. With both working as a coach and Suzuki also being a coach, you can say that these were three backstage releases that were also talent.
If we do hear anything else regarding releases coming today within the NXT brand, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
