Mixed Tag Match Set For The Royal Rumble
January 4, 2022Two couples are going to fight.
Back at WWE Day 1 we saw Edge defeat The Miz after his wife Beth Phoenix came out. Phoenix helped Edge by running off Maryse and distracting The Miz. Tonight on RAW, a match between all four was set up.
On RAW tonight, Miz and Maryse were in the ring just giving one excuse after another as to why Miz lost at Day 1. This went on for a few minutes before Edge and Beth Phoenix would come out. Edge and Phoenix would lay down the challenge that they wanted to face Miz and Maryse at the Royal Rumble.
Maryse seemed as if she did not want to do the match yet her husband The Miz thought it over for a moment before saying, “We accept!” this upset Maryse who then left the ring not wanting to talk to her husband.
