Original Story: Mauro missing that last few NXT episodes is bigger than not being available.

For the last few week’s NXT lead announced Mauro Ranallo has been missing from his weekly duties. It was stated that he was with family in Canada and unable to work those NXT show. Now, it looks like there is more to this story.

According to a tweet sent out late Monday afternoon by Dave Meltzer, Meltzer stated that Mauro Ranallo and WWE have parted ways. No other details were given but Meltzer stated that more will be forthcoming.

Ranallo was currently on his second stint with WWE. Back in 2017 he was hired as the lead announcer of Smackdown but left after no longer wanting to work with Vince McMahon and was being bullied by JBL. He returned in June of 2017 solely working with Triple H on NXT and has been the voice of that brand for the last three years.
