Iron Man Title Match Ends In A Tie, Another NXT Title Match Set
September 1, 2020There is still no NXT Champion.
Tonight on NXT there was a 4-way 60-minute Iron Man match to crown a new NXT Champion. In the match was Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, Tommaso Ciampa, and Adam Cole. Yet in the end,there was a tie and no one was awarded the title.
With less than 20 seconds left in the match, all four men were tied at one point apiece. Finn Balor was then able to score his second pinfall of the match with about 15 seconds left. The match would continue with Balor thinking it was over when Adam Cole would slide into the ring, hit Balor with the last shot, and pin him as the clock ran out. Both men would then think they have won the match when NXT General Manager William Regal would make his way down to the ring.
Regal would get between both Balor and Cole and stated that since this match ended in a tie they have to fight again. Regal would then announce that next week on NXT Super Tuesday part two Finn Balor and Adam Cole will face off in a one fall to a finish singles match to crown the new NXT Champion. Basically next week we get sudden death.

Next week NXT will once again come to us on a Tuesday night. This match as long as there is no “surprise” finish should crown us the new NXT Champion.
