Full Brackets Revealed For The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
January 16, 2022The men’s Dusty Cup is set.
WWE announced a few weeks back that both the Men’s and the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournaments were coming back. They announced that the men’s tournament would be starting this month with the women’s taking place next month. Today, WWE revealed the full eight-team brackets for the men’s tournament.
The following eight teams and four matches ups were revealed Sunday morning on Twitter.
– MSK vs Jacket Time
– Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs Legado Del Fantasma
– Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen vs The Creed Brothers
– Grizzled Young Veterans vs Andre Chase & Bodhi Hayward

Most of these teams were expected except the final team here. It is interesting to see the team of Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward in the tournament as they have not teamed together at least on television once together. Also to our recollection, this may also be the first time they have revealed “Bodhi Hayward” as the name for Chase’s main student.
Last year MSK won the tournament and winning it lead to them also becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions. As far as what teams could advance to the finals. WWE has already teased MSK meeting The Creed Brothers as the Creeds told MSK they must win the tournament and get past them if they want another shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships.
