First Thing Announced For This Week’s Smackdown
February 2, 2021One Mania main event may be set this week.
This past Sunday Edge won the Men’s Royal Rumble. Then last night on Monday Night RAW he took on Randy Orton in what they called “their last encounter.” Yesterday it was also reported that Edge would challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. That means Edge would be moving to the Smackdown brand, hence why he and Orton are done.
With that it has been announced that Edge will be appearing this week on Friday Night Smackdown. If Edge is not going to formally challenge Roman Reigns for the title there really is not any other reason for Edge to be on the show this week. They also stated we may get some sort of a sign as far as what Bianca Belair may do at WrestleMania as well.
