BREAKING NEWS: Title Change Takes Place At WWE Live Event (VIDEO)

Tonight a new champion was crowned.

Tonight WWE rand their annual after Christmas live event in Madison Square Garden with a few titles on the line. With that, we did see a title change hands as we have a brand new WWE United States Champion.

On the show, Rey Mysterio put his United States Title on the line against Andrade and Andrade came out victorious. The finish of the match, which you can see in the video below, saw Mysterio hit Andrade with a 619 before going to the top rope. Rey then leaped off the top and Andrade got his feet up hitting Rey in the face. Andrade them quickly jumped to his feet, hit Mysterio with the Hammerlock DDT and pinned him to become the new champion.

Now, this is not the first time we have seen the United States Championship changes hands at a live event in Madison Square Garden as AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens for the title back in 2017.

The show at the time of this writing is still going on and over the last few days, WWE has teased the possibility of Becky Lynch losing her RAW Women’s Championship tonight. It is not likely to see two title changes in one night at a live event but if anything else newsworthy does happen we will have it for you here on the website or over on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.

Congratulations do go out to Adrande for winning the United States Championship. This is Andrade’s first title win on the main roster. He is also a former NXT Champion as well.
