Big Update On The King & Queen Of The Ring Event

The King & queen will be crowned overseas.

Last week it was reported that WWE is looking to run two premium live events in the month of May. One of those being Backlash and the more interesting is WWE King & Queen of the Ring. The report is that it will be taking place on Saturday, May 27th but nothing else was in the first report. Now we know more.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that the show is set to be taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. WWE has run multiple events in Jeddah in the past from the King Abdullah Internationa Stadium.

No further details were given pertaining to the format of the event and when each tournament could also kick off before the actual event in Saudi Arabia.
