WWE’s Return To Madison Square Garden Revealed

Next month WWE is going back out on the road with a 25 city tour. The question was why call it a 25 city tour unless WWE has no plan to remain on the road past September 6th. Could WWE return to a ThunderDome situation following the tour? We do not know, but we do know of one-stop after September 6th in the works.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Smackdown will emanate from Madison Square Garden for the September 10 edition of Friday Night Smackdown. This will be WWE’s first Madison Square Garden event since December of 2019. If you don’t remember WWE also returned to MSG for television back in September of 2019 for the first time in a decade.
WWE themselves have not yet announced the Madison Square Garden edition of Smackdown yet one would assume that if it is in the works then they will need to soon to put tickets on sale. We know that Madison Square Garden has returned to running with full capacity as they did with the Foo Fighters this past weekend.
