WWE Reveals Roman Reigns’ Status For Tomorrow’s Smackdown

January 6, 2022 0 By Tim Jarrell

WWE has confirmed if Roman Reigns will be on Smackdown this week.

Last weekend Roman Reigns was supposed to defend the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar. Reigns was pulled from the show after testing positive for COVID-19 and Brock Lesnar was added to the WWE Title match. Lesnar would go on to win the title and then on Monday stated he would be on Smackdown this Friday. As far as Friday goes, if Reigns would be on the show was in question.

Thursday morning WWE did confirm that Reigns will in fact be at Smackdown this week. WWE stated that Reigns has been medically cleared and will have a confrontation with the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns has been medically cleared and is set to return at tomorrow’s Friday Night SmackDown.

The Universal Champion was unable to compete at WWE Day 1 after testing positive for COVID. His slated opponent Brock Lesnar was added to the WWE Championship Fatal 5-Way Match and went on to capture the title. On this week’s Raw, Lesnar warned Reigns that he was heading to the blue brand this week.

What will be in store when this explosive confrontation goes down tomorrow night?

Don’t miss the massive encounter this Friday at 8/7 C on FOX.

As far as this week’s Smackdown does go, this Reigns and Lesnar confrontation is the only thing that has been announced for the show on FOX. This is the first show since the Day 1 event last weekend and will begin the blue brand’s build towards the Royal Rumble on January 26th.

If we do hear anything else regarding tomorrow night’s Smackdown, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
