WWE Quietly Released A Smackdown Superstar Last Month

February 2, 2021 0 By Tim Jarrell

WWE has released a not so popular superstar.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that WWE has released Lars Sullivan. The report states that Sullivan was actually released last month and WWE did not mention the release at all. Not much is known as far as what actually lead to the release.

As of right now, we do not know what lead to Sullivan’s release. We do not know if he asked for the release or if WWE made the decision to let him go. It is also not known why they kept this a secret for so long.

Sullivan started in NXT in early 2017 before coming to the main roster at the end of 2018 and in early 2019. After being on the main roster for a few months, Sullivan suffered a knee injury that he initially thought was not that bad. Yes it was worse than expected as he was out for almost a year and a half. He then returned a few months ago and was drafted to Smackdown but then disappeared again after a few weeks.

If we do hear anything further regarding Lars Sullivan no longer being with the company, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
