WWE Hall Of Famer Set For Saturday Night’s Main Event

A legendary manager is coming to New York.

On December 14th WWE will run the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC. The show will come to us from the Nassau Coliseum with two matches set so far. We know Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and they will crown the first Women’s United States Champion.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he reports that the show is slated to feel like the Saturday Night’s Main Event show from back in the 80s. The show is set to have a very “old school” feel from presentation, graphics, music, etc. The report also notes how as of right now WWE is working on getting legends from that area to appear on the show. One name they can confirm is WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart. Hart was a mainstay on the show as a heel manager of many different wrestlers on the program.

This comes after reports a little while ago that WWE was interested in having Jesse Venture appear on the show in some form as well.
