Big Eddie Kingston Update As He Is Still Out Injured

Kingston may not be back for quite some time.

Eddie Kingston has been out of action since the May 11th NJPW Stong Resurgence show. He was injured on the show in a match with Gabe Kidd. Kingston took a suplex off the apron through a table and because the barricade was so close to the ring Kingston’s let smashed into it and he immediately was injured and the match was stopped. He tore his ACL and meniscus and had to have surgery. We now have our first real update on Kingston’s status.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he reports that since having surgery Kingston has been furiously pushing himself through physical therapy trying to get back to the ring as soon as possible. Yet even though Kingston is working so hard he has been warned by doctors that he most likely will not be cleared to return till June of 2025.

Johnson stated that when he reached out to Eddie Kingston for a comment, Kingston said, “Health insurance is a scam.”
