WWE Could Be Planning To Vacate Championships

Champions may need to be stripped in WWE.

WWE has been doing a good job for the most part making their champions feel important recently. They have been doing way longer title reigns to make the champions and championship belts feel like a bigger deal, yet one set of champions may need to be stripped due to injury.

Last Friday night on Smackdown we saw an injury angle where Jade Cargill was slammed onto a car and taken away in an ambulance. The word is they did this because Cargill is dealing with a real life injury. Dave Meltzer noted that the injury is being kept “very secret” as far as the severity knows. Most are saying it is something that could keep her out for some time. Now it looks like she will be out so long that they may need to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

According to WrestleVotes they noted that WWE will be stripping the champions of their titles.

“Again, [I’m] working on nailing down the details, but I’m hearing they’re gonna have to strip Bianca… Yeah, these belts are cursed. I mean, this happens time and time again.”

This is really unfortunate as it seems as if the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships are cursed. These titles have been vacated multiple times due to injury.
