WWE Confirms Johnny Gargano Out Of TakeOver

Johnny TakeOver is out of TakeOver.

Last night Austin Theory posted an interesting video saying that Johnny Gargano is out of TakeOver and will not defend the North American Title against Kushida on Sunday. Many felt this may just be a storyline and the match will take place but WWE has basically confirmed this.

While promoting the Austin Theory versus Kushida match for tonight’s NXT, they did state the following,

This is the first time that WWE themselves have made reference to Gargano being out of the match at Takeover. WWE has still not given a reason as to why Gargano is injured and what caused it.
