Wednesday Night Wrestling Ratings For 9/16 Down Big As AEW & NXT Are Back On Same Night

With AEW & NXT back head-to-head both shows are down.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 886,000 viewers. This is down roughly 13% from last week’s show that drew 1,016,000 viewers. The AEW this week was down 130,000 viewers. This week’s NXT drew 689,000 viewers. This is down roughly 18% from last week’s show that drew 838,000 viewers. This week NXT saw a 149,000 viewers decrease. The reason both shows were down was that both AEW and NXT were back on the same night for the first time in over a month. For non-news cable programing, overall the night was won by Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

As far as the demographics, in the 18-49 demo, AEW drew a .34, and NXT drew a .18. In the 18-34 demo, AEW drew a .24, and NXT drew a .10. In the 50+ demo, AEW drew a .32, and NXT drew a .36. In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW was ranked 3rd for the night and NXT was ranked 31st.
