Wrestling was down this week but not as much as expected.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 717,000 viewers. This is down roughly 9% from last week’s show that drew 781,000 viewers. This week saw a 64,000 viewer decrease. As far as NXT, this week’s show drew 610,000 viewers. This is down roughly 31% from last week’s show that drew 876,000 viewers. This week saw a 266,000 viewer decrease. The night on cable was won by CNN and their election coverage averaging over 6 million viewers.

As far as the demographics, in the 18-49 demo, AEW drew a .30 while NXT drew a .14. In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW Dynamite was ranked 56th and WWE NXT was ranked 69th. Because both were ranked outside of the top 50, that is why we only have the demo numbers for the 18-49. As far as non-news programming, AEW Dynamite was the second-highest program.
