VIDEO: AEW Wrestler Suffers Knee Injury On Dynamite
June 30, 2021One AEW wrestler has suffered a dislocated knee.
Tonight on AEW Dynamite we saw a tag team match where Britt Baker teamed with Rebel to take on Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero. The finish saw Guerrero tap to Baker and then Baker took a powerbomb through a table. Yet things didn’t go as planned for Rebel.
It has been reported by Fightful that Rebel actually suffered a dislocated kneecap in the tag team match tonight. No real details were given regarding the injury other than Rebel was said to be in good spirits. As far as when the injury occurred in the match, it looks like it came right before the finish then Rebel ran in to break up a cover. After she broke up the cover she fully extended her right leg and she said something to Nyla and dragged her to the ropes. Rebel then tried to pull herself out of the ring but was not able to fully get out of the ring and just laid there. You can see the spot in the video below
Typically the recovery time for a dislocated kneecap is six weeks of no physical activity. Yet at this time we do not know how severe the injury itself is.
