Unexpected Name Spotted At The WWE Performance Center

A name that has not been heard of for a few months was spotted at the PC today.

According to Casey Michael of Square Circle Sirens, he reports that Kacy Catanzaro was at the WWE Performance Center today. It was reported that she was meeting with head trainer Matt Bloom.

Catanzaro has not been seen or seemed to be associated with WWE since September. It was reported that she was done with the company and may have asked for her release. Since then WWE had removed her from the NXT and PC roster pages on their website. It is interesting though if you go to Catanzaro’s superstar page, that page has not been deleted but instead locked. She also had not had a match since July.

It is unclear if she was truly done with the company back in September but when her real-life boyfriend Ricochet spoke about the reports to Sports Illustrated, where he did make it sound like she may be done, but that nothing was 100% stating,

“She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her.

I don’t know. She’s very family-oriented and she wants kids, so she doesn’t know if being on the road so much is for her. For me, I’m already too deep, I’m on the road all the time. She loves wrestling and she loves it here, and she’s so good at it, so it’s a very tough decision for her.”

It will be interesting to see why Catanzaro was at the Performance Center meeting with Matt Bloom whether that was just a friendly “hey how are you,” or if it was talks of her coming back to the company. If we do hear anything else on the Kacy Catanzor’s status with WWE we will keep you updated.
