It’s a new day but not a good day for Woods.

Last Friday night on Smackdown we saw a Street Fight for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships with The Usos defending their titles against The New Day. Unfortunately, King woods was injured in the match.

While appearing on G4’s Attack of the Show! Thursday, Xavier Woods revealed that he suffered an injury to his plantaris muscle, the muscle behind your calf muscle while performing a slingshot DDT into the ring in his last match. The last match he compete in was the Street Fight from last Friday’s Smackdown. While discussing the injury and doing the Around the Net segment on the show, Woods did it sitting on his king’s throne while host Kevin Pereria poked fun at Woods cause he can jump around and Woods can not right now.

As far as how long Woods will be out of action, he stated that the injury will keep Woods out of action for four to six weeks. With Woods being out four to six weeks, that means he will miss the Royal Rumble.

If we do hear anything else on Woods’ injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
