Top NXT Stars To Work Tonight’s Smackdown

Two NXT stars will work dark matches tonight ahead of Smackdown.

Tonight Smackdown comes to us from Evansville, Indiana and so far nothing for the actual show has been announced. With that, it is being reported that two top NXT babyfaces will be working dark matches before Smackdown goes on the air tonight.

According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, Pollock does report that both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly will be working dark matches tonight before Smackdown. It is interesting that the two will be getting a look for the main roster as both’s contracts are reportedly coming up next month.

Per sources – Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly are scheduled for a dark match tonight in Evansville at the Smackdown tapings

We do not know exactly what these dark matches will necessitate. We don’t know if they are getting a look to possibly be called up to the main roster if either decides to re-sign with the company next month.
