Tony Khan Reportedly Upset With Sammy Guevara Over IMPACT Angle, Guevara Banned From IMPACT Tapings

Sammy Guevara has issues with some very influential people.

Over the last few months, we have seen All Elite Wrestling working with IMPACT Wrestling. Wrestlers from each company have appeared on the other shows including executives as well. Yet many are not happy about all aspects of this relationship.

According to a report from SLAM Wrestling, they report that Sammy Guevara leaving the Inner Circle was supposed to lead to Sammy showing up in IMPACT after saying he needed a break from AEW. The report states that Chris Jericho was the one who pitched the idea of Sammy going to IMPACT. He pitched it to Tony Khan who then reached out to IMPACT.

The report goes on to say that Tony did not like the first idea pitch but signed off on the second idea. Yet Guevara was supposed to head to Nashville the day after they taped his Inner Circle fallout but IMPACT received a message from Guevara who complained about his creative direction. This led to IMPACT officials contacting Tony Khan and Chris Jericho. Jericho would then reach out to Don Callis and told Don to ban Sammy from the tapings.

The report concludes by saying that when Sammy Guevara arrived in Nashville he had a message from Jericho telling him not to show up at IMPACT and to go home. AEW had felt that the actions of Guevara here may have possibly hurt their relationship with IMPACT.

If we do hear anything else regarding this situation, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
