Title Match Announced For NXT TakeOver 36
August 9, 2021The gold is stronger than friendship.
Two weeks ago on NXt, we saw Dakota Kain attack Raquel Gonzalez. Kai made it known that she was coming after the NXT Women’s Championship. Last week she said the only reason Raquel has been the champion and in the position she is, is because Dakota brought her in to watch her back. Now we know what’s next for these two.
WWE has announced that at NXT takeOver 36 on August 22nd, Dakota Kai will challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The NXT Universe is still shaking from Dakota Kai’s kick heard ‘round the world to Raquel Gonzalez.
Now, the former friends will go to battle for the NXT Women’s Title at NXT TakeOver 36. Big Mami Cool had proven unstoppable with Kai by her side, as even her former teammate admitted that she’d always be champion as long as they continued to have each other’s backs. Moments later, Kai launched her shocking attack to lead the two down the path to a championship showdown.
Who will be holding the gold after the two formerly inseparable teammates square off in the ring?
With this title match being announced for the show, this now makes three matches confirmed for the show. If we do hear anything else regarding NXT TakeOver 36 in just a few weeks, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
