Ric Flair Granted Release From WWE

One of the greatest of all time is no longer with WWE.

Many people have been released this year by WWE. Most with the company saying they had been due to “budget cuts”. Yet it is now being reported that Ric Flair has requested out of his WWE Legends contract.

According to reports from both Wrestling Inc. and Fightful, they report that 16-time World Champion Ric Flair asked to be released from his WWE Legends deal. The reports state that Flair had grown frustrated with some of the booking decisions recently in WWE.

It was also stated that Flair was very outspoken about not liking the Lacey Evans program he was in earlier this year. The Program never got to finish out due to Evans having to take time off due to her pregnancy.
