Rey Mysterio’s Future With WWE Reportedly Determined

It looks like Rey is not leaving WWE.

Since shortly after WrestleMania Rey Mysterio’s future with WWE has been in question. It has been reported they Mysterio’s contract had expired and the two sides were going back and forth on terms that fit with what both sides wanted. We then heard over the last few weeks that things were looking good as for as Mysterio staying with the company.

Now according to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that Rey Mysterio has signed a new three-year deal with the WWE. Meltzer wrote that the typical deal right now is a five-year deal but Mysterio, like Lesnar, is the exception getting a three-year deal.

It has been said that if all things with Dominik and WWE go well then Rey would stay with the company to not hinder Dominik’s chances of being used in a good way by the company. Most expected this to happen and it was just a matter of both sides agreeing on terms of the new deal.
