Reason Big Show Did Not Sign A New Deal With WWE

Money played a factor between Show & WWE.

This morning it was announced that Paul Wight, f.k.a The Big Show has signed with AEW ending a 22-year relationship with WWE. Show has toned down his involvement with WWE over the last few years and had been working on one-year deals for a bit now. Yet he did not sign another one-year deal this year.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson report that the reason Wight did not stay with WWE was that the two sides could not agree on financial terms. It also seems as if Big Show was not happy with WWE.

Big Show was last seen on WWE television at the RAW Legends Night earlier this year where he was in a segment with Randy Orton. Johnson stated that Show was “very open that night about his unhappiness about the situation.”

Earlier this week WWE has moved Big Show to the alumni section of their website.

If we hear anything else on Big Show no longer with WWE and signing with AEW, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
