Pro Wrestling Illustrated Reveals #1 Wrestler For 2020, Top 10 Posted
August 27, 2020Who did PWI name the best wrestler in 2020?
Every year Pro Wrestling Illustrated posts their list of the best 500 male wrestlers in the world. The evaluation period every year is from July 1 till June 30 of the next year. The PWI 500 has been around since 1991 and a number of major wrestlers have been given the number one slot. Only John Cena has won the top prize three times as Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and Seth Rollins have won twice. Last year the number one spot went to Seth Rollins.
When looking at how is in this top 500 and how they should be ranked there are a number of qualification they look at.
As far as this year, PWI has revealed the top 10, and the remainder of the 500 will be revealed when the magazine comes out in December. This year’s number one is the current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. This is the first year Moxley has been ranked number one.
