Possible Injury At Survivor Series Changed TLC Plans

The original TLC main event may be off.

The next WWE pay-per-view event is WWE TLC on December 20th. The original pland and the plan as of Monday afternoon was for Braun Strowman to challenge Drew McIntyre at TLC for the WWE Championship. Then this Monday on RAW they did a storyline where Strowman was suspended and a tournament was started without him to crown the next number one contender.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer reported that Strowman may have suffered a kne injury at Survivor Series forcing WWE to change plans for TLC. The tournament started on RAW was a last minute decision to crown the next challenger for McIntyre in case Strowman is in fact injured and can not compete next month.

Meltzer went on to state that there is a chance Strowman is not injured but because there was the fet that he may be, they needed to do something else as far at the WWE Championship match at TLC.

If they do go with the winner of the tournament challenging McIntyre at TLC then that person would be either AJ Styles, Keith Lee, or Riddle. The three of them will meet in a triple threat match next Monday on RAW to determine the next number on contender.

If we do hear anything further on Braun Strowman’s possible injury and the WWE Title match for TLC, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
