Popular AEW Star To Miss Double Or Nothing Due To Injuries

One popular AEW star is missing the next pay-per-view.

This past week AEW announced all the names for the Casino battle Royale at Double Or Nothing and many were asking why Rey Fenix was not announced for the match or if he is the mystery entrant. It looks like he is currently out with an injury.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that Fenix is currently out of action and will not be competing at Double or Nothing. Fenix had his last match for AEW back on April 26th. He wrestled on Dark: Elevation where he defeated Chuck Taylor. Meltzer stated that the injuries were actually suffered in a match he recently had in Mexico. It is not known at this time how long Fenix will be out of action.

Fenix had been doing tag team stuff recently with PAC as back on April 8th he and PAC challenged the Young Bucks for the Tag Team Titles. PAC himself will be in a triple threat match along with Orange Cassidy at Double or Nothing challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title. His brother Penta El Zero M will be in the Casino Battle Royale himself.

If we do hear anything else regarding Fenix’s injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
