NWA Announced Next PPV & A “Return”
December 14, 2019Tonight was NWA Into The Fire on PPV and a few announcements were made.
Tonight NWA held a PPV with three title matches on the show. The main event was Nick Aldis defending the NWA World Championship against James Storm in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
The announcers made two big announcements regarding the future of the NWA. First off, they did announce that the next time they will be on PPV will be on Friday, January 24th. This may be tough for them as this will actually go up against the Smackdown before the Royal Rumble. They could run the show earlier in the day like that did today but that is tough on a Friday to do.
It was also announced a “return” as the NWA is bringing back the NWA Television Heavyweight Wrestling Championship. The new champion is set to be crowned on the January 24th PPV.
