New Japan Clarifies Rules For Texas Death Match At Wrestle Kingdom 14
December 19, 2019New Japan has set some interesting rules on the US Title match.
At Wrestle Kingdom 14 the IWGP United States Championship will be on the line when Lance Archer defends the title against Jon Moxley. The match is a Texas Death Match, but the rules were not specified until now.
Many when first announced thought this would just be a no disqualification match with a fancy name and that’s not quite what it is. New Japan clarified today that the rules of the match will see no disqualification and no pinfalls. The only way to win is by a ten count knockout or submission.
