Multiple Things Announced For Tonight’s Smackdown

WWE announces two things for tonight’s Smackdown.

Tonight Friday Night Smackdown comes to us from Target Center in Minneapolis. going into the day nothing was announced for the show, yet Friday afternoon, WWE announced two things for tonight.

First off WWE has announced that we will have a contract signing between Roman Reigns and Finn Balor for a future Universal Championship match. As of right, WWE is stating that this title match will be taking place on August 21st at SummerSlam.

After Universal Champion Roman Reigns flat-out denied the challenge of 16-time World Champion John Cena in favor of one from Finn Bálor last week, The Head of the Table will look to sign the contract for his showdown against The Prince at “Your Summer Vacation Destination,” SummerSlam, on Aug. 21!

Also, WWE has announced that Rey Mysterio will be going one-on-one tonight with Jimmy Uso. The feud between the former Smackdown Tag Team Champions and current champions will continue as it looks like the rematch for the titles could take place at SummerSlam.

Since losing the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WWE Money In The Bank, The Mysterios have been looking for weaknesses in the armor of The Usos. Tonight, Rey Mysterio will attempt to show his son Dominik how it’s done against Jimmy Uso in a one-on-one showdown. Don’t miss a moment of the action tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown.

It has also been reported that a top WWE superstar could be returning tonight on Smackdown after not being around for the last few months.
