Money In The Bank Qualifier Announced For Smackdown
June 24, 2022Another woman will qualify tonight.
Coming up a week from Saturday is the Money in the Bank event from Las Vegas. We do know of most of the card thus far with the two big matches being the Money in the Bank ladder matches. For the men’s a qualifying match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn will take place tonight on Smackdown. Now we know of a women’s qualifier taking place as well tonight.
WWE has announced that tonight on Smackdown Shotzi will be going one on one with Tamina in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match.
A spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will be on the line when Shotzi and Tamina battle tonight on SmackDown.
Shotzi has been outspoken about her desire for a championship opportunity and will get the chance to make it a reality. The imposing Tamina will be standing in her way looking to clear her own path to Money in the Bank glory.

Now the interesting thing with this match being announced is that it is a change from what was announced last week. Last week on Smackdown it was announced that Shotzi would face Aliyah in a qualifying match. No word was given as to why the match was changed and WWE announced this as a new match and not as a change to a previously announced match.
