WWE may have no options for SummerSlam outside the PC.

For the last week or two, there has been a lot of talk about Vince McMahon wanting to no run SummerSlam from the Performance Center. Every year SummerSlam is supposed to be a big deal show and getting it out of the PC could make it feel as if it is bigger than what they have been doing.

Some of those rumors have been running SummerSlam on a beach or even on a cruise ship. Those are just rumors of ideas that may have been pitched in creative meetings. Earlier this week WrestleVotes reported that WWE wanted to try and find a venue in the northeast to run the event but was having trouble finding interest.

Today WrestleVotes updated that report stating that a meeting was taking place today to finalize the plans for SummerSlam that comes to us in less than one month. The report indicates that they are trying hard to find a venue for SummerSlam but that it is not as easy as they had hoped.

In addition, Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that SummerSlam is currently scheduled to be taking place from the WWE Performance Center. Johnson states that talks of an outdoor venue were talked about at the last set of tapings but nothing has been officially confirmed.

With only 23 days left till SummerSlam, WWE is going to have to come to some sort of a final decision and it look s like that is running it from the PC. If we do hear anything else on the location of Summerslam, we will have it for you here or on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
